Santo Stefano di Magra, which is considered the hinterland terminal of the system, is structured as follows:

- "Fascio Viaggiatori" (Passenger Track Cluster) dedicated to passenger traffic.

- "Fascio Merci" (Freight Track Cluster) from which tracks branch out to the Ex Intermodal and SVAR connections.

The facility is located near the Parma – La Spezia railway line with a branch to the Arcola/Sarzana junction.
